Verizon Wireless launches BlackBerry® cellular in EvDO platform

Verizon Wireless, leading wireless telecommunications provider in Puerto Rico, recently announced the launch of the BlackBerry® 7250™, with connectivity to the EvDO Verizon Wireless network. Developed and manufactured by Research in Motion, the BlackBerry 7250 is available in the 27 Verizon Wireless stores and kiosks throughout the island.

“Our clients benefit from the powerful combination of the BlackBerry 7250 functions that include secure e-mail with ‘push’ technology, Internet browser, text messaging, electronic agenda and the ability to access corporate databases, via the fast EvDO Verizon network.
